When I first started my journey into Veganism I was apprehensive about transitioning my beauty products. I didn’t have any knowledge about vegan beauty brands and didn’t know where to look. It was a challenge I was up for. So, I drove to Ulta and tried desperately to look for vegan beauty products. To say I was overwhelmed would be an understatement. Thankfully one of the beauty consultants showed me a few options to try. She told be about Pacifica and how she’s been using their products for a while. She highly recommended it. I am so happy that she did. Since that day I’ve been falling madly in love with this company.

Pacifica offers everything you could dream of for your makeup needs. Like, everything. I was really impressed when I went on their website to see all the amazing products they offer. I’ve already started collecting all their beauty products. If your just started out with their brand or looking into vegan products then picking up their Wanderlust Beauty Set is your best bet. The set gives you TWO eyeshadows, a lip tint, and a BB cream. It gives your a little sample for a simple and beautiful everyday look. I love their lip tints. I wear it everyday. I couldn’t imagine using something different.  One thing that’s amazing about this set is that its formulated with great ingredients. One of the ingredients that really called to me is Oat Beta Glucan. I am worried about wrinkles and have been more aware of products that offer quality ingredients that will help fight it.

Skincare

I’ve been using their Kale Detox face wash for over 3 months. I’m so madly in love with the wash that I don’t see myself using anything else. I do use other products in addition to this one. But the soft scent and its intense cleaning quality really lives my face feeling fresh.  What i love about their skincare line is that it doesn’t have a boat load of disgusting and harmful chemicals and ingredients. So, when I use it, I know that my face is getting quality products.

Body & Perfume

We all need a go to body lotion, cream, butter, or oil that will give out skin nourishing and long lasting moisture. I’ve recently started using their dry body oil and my skin has been the happiest its been in a long time. During the winter my skin becomes very dry and sensitive. I need extra moisture to keep it from cracking.  Their hand cream is a life saver. I always keep a bottle in my purse. I work with children and I am constantly washing my hands. So, having a thick and non-greasy lotion in my bag is a must have. Some of my friends have tried it and can’t believe that a vegan lotion could be so moisturizing and long lasting. I kind of found it funny. Why wouldn’t it be? I guess I’ve been using it for some time now that I can’t see the other side. LOL =)

I’m not big on traditional perfumes that you spray on. I’ve always been a fan on roll ons or body oils. I think that it interacts with your natural body oils better and gives you a softer and longer smell. I’ve been meaning to purchase their roll on perfumes but haven’t has the chance. So, I was so happy when I got a sample from one of my vegan beauty subscriptions. To say that I excited would be an understatement. And one again I was right. I LOVE the roll on perfume. I put it on in the morning before I go to work and by the time I come home I still have it’s scent on me.

We use a natural grain alchohol as the base for our spray and roll-on perfume base. Our soild perfume is made from a coconut and soy based wax.
