Subscription Box Review: Petit Vour (March)

Petit Vour is a vegan monthly beauty subscription box. Each month you’ll get 4 samples of vegan beauty products ranging from hair, lips, skincare, and makeup. You get all these samples for $15 a month! =) Happy Friday! We made it through another week and we are so much better for it. I know I’m happy to celebrate TGIF! And what better way then talking about beauty products. March’s beauty box from Petit Vour was pretty good. I sampled all the products but I only have use for 2/4 of them.

YAROK Feed Your Moisture Shampoo $1 (Full Size, $38) I don’t normally use shampoo on my hair. I’m in the process of restoring my hair to its natural curl pattern so I have certain products that I use. Having said that I did try the sample. The amount in the sample wasn’t enough for my hair. I have very thick hair and it hardly made a detent! LOL What I do love is the fact that is has Black African soap! It does amazing this for the body and the hair. So, that automatically makes this shampoo great. I loved how it smelled. Because I couldn’t get a full wash out of the product I can’t give a full review on it.

LITTLE BARN APOTHECARY Geranium + White Tea Beauty Mist $8 (Full Size, $16) Let’s talk about the millions of reasons why I love this mist. First, the smell is AMAZING! It’s a cross between a dewy forest mist and a botanical garden. It’s done in such a way that its beautifully soft and powerful at the same time. There isn’t any oily residue on the skin and it adds a hydrated layer of wonder to the skin. It makes your skin feel like you just walked out of a warm shower after a whole day of shoveling snow.  I wore it like a body spray because I loved it so much. I will be repurchasing. Now, the only negative thing I have to say about it is that the scent didn’t last long. I know it’s because I was using it the wrong way so I shouldn’t expect it to last that long.

SUKI Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser $11 I’m always looking for a great cleanser. What I enjoyed most about this cleanser is the smell. (yes, the first thing I fall in love with is smell) It’s a great citrus tone that’s not overwhelming. When I applied it to my face it felt like I was scrapping it with sand paper, in a good way. After rubbing it into my skin it lost it roughness and just did it’s job. =) Once I rinsed the cleanser off my face felt very moisturized. Almost as if I had a thick layer of moisturizer on my skin. It felt heavy on my skin but in actuality it wasn’t. I wouldn’t use everyday or even one a week. Because it’s heavy I would use this cleanser once a month or once every two weeks.

LAUREN B. BEAUTY Dual Top/Base Coat $22 This is the second item that I don’t have much use for. I get gel manicures and don’t usually use regular nail polish. Actually, I recently threw out all my nails polishes. I used the clear polish on my toes (not picture ready). It went on smoothly and covered nicely. There wasn’t anything particularly speculator about the nail polish. I might have a different opinion if it was colored. I’ll write a review if I happen to use it with regular nail polish.

Please tell me what sort of information you look for in a review. Leave your answer in the comments below or send me an email.
