  • 100% Pure

We love animals and refuse to support anything that hurts animals which is why none of our formulas are ever tested on animals (everything we use is food grade and does not require testing, whereas chemical ingredients must be tested). All our makeup brushes are from synthetic fibers. No animals were hurt for their fur and no animals were hurt for any of our ingredients (the only animal ingredient we use is cruelty free honey). –100% Pure

  • Amika

Thank you for reaching out and for caring about these issues! amika never has and never will conduct animal testing. When we create a product, we test it on ourselves, our friends, anyone and everyone we can get our hands on! We test on people, never animals. As for being vegan, hydrolyzed keratin, derived from sheep’s wool, is utilized in our Triple Rx Shampoo. The Straight up Smoothing Balm contains silk amino acids which are extracted from the raw silk of the silk worm. Amika Haute Mess Gel uses honey extract which comes from honey bees. No other product uses any animal derived ingredients. -Email response from Amika
