The new year is fast approaching. Are you ready? I’ve been planning and researching for the big changes that are coming. Here are the main ones:
- I’m going vegan. Finally!
I’ve always wanted to go vegan. So, in order to make the transition easier and more likely to succeed I started by going vegetarian. I haven’t eaten meat (chicken, beef, pork, fish, etc) for a little over a moth and a half. I actually find it rather easy. Now, the vegan part is what worries me. I don’t worry or care much for giving up milk or eggs but I am sad to give up cheese. It’s literally the best food ever made. It’s something I love eating and could literally eat for every meal. Since I am lactose intolerant I know I cant include it. That’s the only part I’m sad about. I’m open to try different products and to expand my knowledge of food and products. If you have any…. leave a comment.
- I’m going to curly.
I have naturally curly hair. Since I was a little girl I’ve had some deep issues over them. I have tried my hardest to tame them and keep them away from my life. But, I’ve gotten older and I hope a little wiser. I am going to go back to my natural state of hair. I have already eliminated any type of chemical in my hair. Now, the long process of returning my hair to its curly pattern begins. Since I am going vegan I need for both worlds to go together. I need to find hair care products that are vegan and cruelty free. I don’t want to give up my first goal in order to keep my second one.
- I’m starting (started) to juice.
I recently bought myself the Nutri Ninja juicer. So far its been an amazing purchase. I am not trying to start a extreme diet plan or completely change my life. I’m looking to improve my life. I want to include healthier choices. I’ve been juicing 20 days now. It’s great. I actually look forward to making and drinking them.
Simple? Nope. I didn’t realize how intense each portion of change I want to make is. I understand making real life choices will be hard but worth while. I have a few ideas of how I want to this blog to turn out. I’m excited to see how 2016 will turn out.
